Activities: What you can do depends on the island you choose to reside on. Many retirees choose the comfort of the main island, Viti Levu, due to the fact that it has Fiji's International airport, shops, entertainment and golf. For those into adventure Maui Bay has a boat jetty providing easy access to the ocean and fringing reefs for world-class surfiing, diving, fishing or island exploring. Several resorts are also located near Maui Bay on the famous Coral Coast of the main island of Fiji.

Shopping/Banking: The towns of Nadi, Suva and Sigatoka are all in close driving distance and offer shopping possibilities. Several large banks, such as ANZ and WestPac, service Fiji, and Insurance companies are available.

Medical: The Suva private hospital has excellent medical services. Retirees are advised to have medical insurance from abroad, or can obtain local insurance in Fiji.
